EAA Education for Actuaries not only trains its participants for full membership in their local actuarial associations, it also provides a unique chance to obtain a master’s degree at the University of Ulm (Germany) at the same time and with little extra effort. In order to be accepted for the master’s degree course, the following conditions are to be met:

• a successfully completed bachelor’s degree with strong mathematical orientation
• one year of relevant professional experience
• sufficient knowledge of the English language, e.g. certified by a TOEFL-test
• an adequate preparation certified by an educational institution

The last-mentioned condition is fulfilled after the completion of all EAA-modules. If participants have collected other certificates, EAA will help to close the gaps with selected modules. The master’s degree itself consists of a master’s thesis and an oral exam.
