The EAA actuarial education is a post-master training course specially designed for Masters with a degree in mathematics,
economics, econometrics or finance. However, a Master’s degree is not mandatory to enter the courses.
Local Actuarial Associations have their own responsibility for the entry level and may decide to admit candidates with
another degree.
The EAA Actuary curriculum is fully aligned to the international actuarial education standards of the Groupe Consultatif
Actuariel Européen (Core Syllabus).
The EAA hires excellent lecturers and trainers who have passed EAA accreditation. The trainers are carefully selected and trained and of course the quality of the teachers will be evaluated periodically.
English is the chosen language for EAA education. To test if your English language skills are sufficient we advise you to do a self test:
These are standardised assessments in English. We believe that the tests can help to predict the uccess of lessons offered in English
Books that are used in the EAA modules will be bought by candidates from their local bookstores. EAA will also use in future some materials that are developed for and tailored to EAA requirements. For instance: examinations, reading guides and syllabi. These materials may be distributed via the EAA website.
